Dantes Inferno.

The game Dantes Inferno is based on the epic poem ''Divine Comedy'' which was written by Dante Alighieri in the 14th century. The poem is known for being some of the worlds greates litterature.
It is an allegory telling of the jurney of Dante traveling through hell, purgatory and heaven, and it represents the souls journey towards God.

Dantes Inferno is a action adventure videogame which was released in 2010, and is made by the same company that made God of War. Both of the games also have some similarities when it comes to the soundtracks, which are very dramatical and fits right in to an epic gory adventure.

The video game uses the same characters as the poem, but the plot has a little twist. Dante tries to free his beloved Beatrice's soul from Lucifer, who needs a soul of an innocent to escape from Hell and take over the throne of God. During this journey, Dante must face the 9 circles of hell, and all the sins that he has commited.

In the game, you meet many historical people that you also meet in the poem. Some of these are bosses, and others are lost souls who begs for forgiveness. As a mainperson you can choose to send them to God, or kill them in a brutal way, which will either give you holy points, or unholy. The reason is that you have an unholy weapon, which is the scythe you stole from Death, and a holy weapon which is a cross. Being unholy will give you unholy points to upgrate your scythe and its attacks, same with the holy cross.




The creatures you meet in the video game, depends on which circle you are in. The circles are made pretty much like the poem described them. During your travel you see small details like people hang in trees, people that are twitching while their body are being penetrated by a spear to the ground, people screaming from the pain of being drowned in bioled blood, sinfull souls faling from the sky, and so on.

All in all I loved the game. The surroundings was really well made according to the poem, I liked the story, and how the gameplay worked, but I was not too happy about the design of the creatures and historical people, but all the small details and surroindings sort of made up for that.

God of War

God of war is a third person action adventure game released in 2005.
The setting is placed in ancien Greece where you play the protagonist Kratos, a Spartan warrior who serves the Olympian Gods.
He was once a successful captain in the Spartan army, and he let his men to many victories, before he was defeated by a barbarian king. Facing death, Kratos called on the God of War, Ares, who he promised to serve if the god could spare him and his men, and provide them power to destroy their enemies.
He later lead an attack on a willage occupied by worshipers of Athena. Ares had behind Kratos back, secretly transported Kratos' wife and child to the village. During this attack, Kratos accidentally killed his family. Ares thought this act would free Kratos to become the perfect warrior. The oracle of the destroyed village cursed him by bonding the ashes of his dead family to his skin, turning it ashwhite.
Athena tasks Kratos with killing Ares. He goes out to find the one object that is capeable of stoping Ares. ''Pandoras Box''. After an epic quest, Kratos successfuly kills Ares as the new God of War.

While playing the game you see a lot of known mythical creatures such as Minotaur, Centaurs, Medusa, Cyclops and others. I've always been interested in creatures and mythology, so the design of those are very important to me when I play a game. It gives it a huge extra pluss for me when they have welldesigned creatures and surroundings. Therefor I will show a couple that you can see in the various god of War games.

Final Fantasy - A realm reborn

Final fantasy games has been created for many years, and there are now up to over 14 final fantasy games.
Mostly they are known for their really good graphics made byJapan.

Recently they announced a second final fantasy online game named A Realm Reborn, which seemed to get a lot of good positive feedback.You have 5 different races to choose between. You can change everything from hair and haircolour, to eyes and skincolour among with a lot of other facial feautures. The colours on the hair, eyes and skin all has a 200 colour pattern.
So lets start with the first race.
Hyur: The most human like Race.















Elezen:An Elf like race

Lalafell: Diminutive humanoids

Roegadyn: Physycally large and
muscular race.

Miqo'te: Feline race of hunters.

Then we have 8 classes and 8 jobs. You need two classes to make one job. For example.. Thamaturge in lvl 30 and an archer in lvl 15 will make you a black mage.
The other nice thing about this system is that you can lvl up in any classes you want, so you can have all the jobs on one character. Your weapon is what makes you the class/job you're in. For example, if you are an archer, you use a bow. But if you want to change in to a conjurer, you will just have to equip your staf, and your class and lvl will be syncronized to your conjurer. If you want to go back at using an archer for a higher lvl quest, you just have to equip your bow again. This kind of system has as far as I've seen, only been used in final fantasy A realm Reborn.
I wont list all the classes, but I can list all the jobs.

Paladin: Gladiators who wield the classic sword and shield combination

Monk: Uses their physical strenght and hand-to-hand combat skills.

Warrior: Uses mighty battle axes.

Dragoon:  Defends their city-state by using their spears. They are the sworn enemies of the dragons.

Bard: They are expert marksmen who have developed songs to invigorate their allies in battle.

White mage: They are master conjurers with access to the most powerful healing and support spells.

Black Mage: They sacrifice their souls to delve deeper into the forbidden arts, magnifying their magical power exponentially.

Summoner & Scholar: Summoners are able to bind the essence of the mighty Primals and bend them to their will.
Scholars employ fairies as pets, providing healing and support for their allies.
















Besides from lvl'ing up jobs and classes, you also have to follow the mainstory, and be a part of many small quests. You also meet other people, and learn how to work together as a theme during dungeon quests, where you have to be 4 players. The tank distracts the enemies from hurting the other team, the healer heals the tank as well as the other team if its needed, and the two others help killing the enemies.

To day I'm going to write about an anime (Japanese cartoon) called Attack on titan.

An anime can have different genres.

Anyway, I'm here to talk about Attack on Titan.
Genre: Gore/Action.

Attack on titan takes place inside three walls.

In the inner wall, the king and noblemen lives. In the next ring, people with normal economy lives, and in the outer, the biggest ring.. all the farmers and others less wealthy lives.
The walls are 50m high, and they are there to keep people safe from titans. Most of the humans inside these walls have never seen the ocean, the fores, the dessert and so on. But some have.
The city contains 4 ''military'' groups to keep the cities safe.

Stationary Guard: The largest military division. They have close combat with both titans and human civilians
Military Police: Their work allows them to work safe in the inner wall. They serve as the kings guard and maintain order.
Scouting Legion: Most active involved in titan combat. Their duty is to reclaim human territory from titaninfested land. So they often travel outside the walls (which is not supported by the people inside the walls, because of all the soldiers that die for ''nothing'')

One day, a massive titan appears, and tears down the outer wall, leaving it open so that other titans can get in. But, he dissapears after breaking the wall. People have to travel inside to the second wall where they no longer have all their landmarks and farms. Which leads to hunger.


The second wall gets destroyed later in the series, and they need to find a way to block the huge hole in the wall.
In fact, they have a perfect plan.
The main person, Eren Jaeger has always had a strong wish to kill titans so that he can see the life outside the walls. This has been something he has wished for a long time, long before his mom was eaten by a titan. He is tired of being isolated from the nature, and he is willing to risk his life to do so.
After his mom got killed, and he had to escape in to the second wall, he joined the military with his two closest friends who survived. He met some great people, but the time finally comes where they all have to fight the titans for the first time.







A lot of them dies.
Even Eren gets eaten right in front of his best friend.


After his death, a strange titan shows up. A titan that doesnt care about eating humans. All it wants is to kill other titans. Which have never happened before.



This titan, is Eren Jaeger. When the rest finds out, they all meet in court to decide what to do with him. Most of them thinks he is a danger to the society, and that he needs to be killed. But a guy named Levi, who works in the Scouting Legion has an idea that they need him to fight the titans, and block the hole in the wall. Eren gets beaten up, to prove that he is not a monster, and he can controll his human form.

The plan is ready. Eren is going to carry the massive stone from the wall, while the people around him protect him from other titans. The plan works, and he was able to block the hole. Even though, more people died durin the prosess.


After things are going as planned, another titan shows up. This time, it is a female titan. Which is never seen before. She is desperate to find and kidnap Eren, killing people along her way.
She has special powers that normal titans dont have, including Erens titan form.
They later find out that the female titan has a human form, and in fact.. its one from the military. A girl named Annie.




They later catch her, but she protects herself in crystal based material. They take her down under ground to keep an eye on her in case she comes out of the crystal based material to ask her questions they need answers on.

So we have many unanswered questions here..
Who is the massice collosal titan that destroyed the wall? Is he also a human? Why does he just dissapear?
How do humans become titans?
How did Eren become a titan?
Why did Annie want to kidnap Eren, and kill several people, and destroy their plans along the way?

Hello and welcome to my blog!

The reason why I chose this name was mostly because I will write about games. As we all know, games are violent, and since I'm playing the games.. I guess its sort of.. an attack on my life? I will try to write about other things as well (If anything interesting happends of course).

When it comes to gaming I will write about the game plot, what I thought about the game, post some pictures, and other interesting details!
I only play unnatural games, so this might take you to a whole nother world.
